This book is one of the titles chosen for Children's Book Day at work, so it was 'required reading' rather than something I chose for myself for pleasure. Yet that is precisely why I love taking part in Children's Book Day. It gives me the opportunity to read books I may not otherwise have given a second look to. {Sorry, I ended that sentence with a preposition!} Sometimes, it feels like a chore, but there are always some titles I'm really glad I read. This is one of the latter. There were some issues that took me a while to get into, such as the change in style from 'you' to 'I', but I soon found myself caught up in Nathan's world and his problems. I will definitely be reading the sequel.
